One Day of Play – Open Space Workshop

Join us for One Day of Play: An open space workshop where you get to explore and experiment with activities that bring more fun and engagement to your sessions. Not only will you receive a workbook with no-less than 45 of my favourite activities, you’ll get to explore (and experiment with) activities from others in the room. It’s a chance to not only hear about great activities, but actually see them in action!

What is an Open Space Workshop?
Open Space is a type of workshop where you get to set the agenda. So, if you want ideas and activities for introductions and connection rounds, we’ll do that! If you want some engaging activities that spark conversation around communication…or leadership…or wellbeing…or something else, then we’ll add it to the list! If you’re looking for more playful ways to gather community feedback, then we’ll make sure that’s covered too. You get to choose the kind of activities you want to explore and we shape the day together.

Who is One Day of Play for?
One Day of Play is for anyone who facilitates meetings, workshops or community conversations and wants to inject a little more fun and engagement. It doesn’t matter if you’re a facilitator, trainer, manager, advisor, consultant, team leader or something else. If you bring groups of people together to learn, discuss, explore, debate or decide, this workshop will give you a toolkit of activities to help you do it with a little more spark.

What will you get out of it?
You’ll gather (and try out) a bunch of new activities for your facilitation toolkit, plus you’ll walk away with step-by-step instructions for no-less than 45 of my favourite group exercises.

One Day of Play is for anyone who wants to change-up their meetings and workshops and needs a toolkit of activities they can easily drop into any session. This is a special kind of event where you get to explore the power of play in a whole new way.

One Day of Play only happens once a year and spaces are limited to 50 participants.
