Anyone can participate in our in-person and online training, but only members can access ongoing support through our exclusive member-based community. Joining The Facilitators Network gives you access to all the tangible benefits below, plus you’re invited to spontaneous events and activities throughout the year. The real benefit for network members is the comradery and connections that occur naturally within the group.
The network is not just a place to learn - it's a place to grow and connect.
If you're a facilitator looking to find their tribe - we might be it!
Members of The Facilitators Network receive:
Invitations to free online meet-ups 2-3 times every month.
These meet-ups are mini online workshops where we take a look at specific topics related to facilitation. Some of the topics we have explored over the last 12 months include:
- Designing Interactive Learning Exercises
- Wrapping Up Workshops Well - Feelings, First Steps, Feedback and Follow Up
- How to Facilitate Strategic Planning
- Decision Making in a Workshop Setting
- Understanding Your Unique Facilitation Style
- Working with the Avid-Over-Sharer
- The Power of Metaphors
- Icebreakers and Introductions
- Social Media for Facilitators in Private Practice
- How to Encourage Positive Participation
- And more!
Access to an Online Community full of downloadable resources, activity instructions and templates.
In addition to resources, our online community is an interactive hub where members can share ideas, ask questions, celebrate wins, and point people towards great resources. It's also where we post recordings of our online meet-ups, so if you can't make the call, you get to watch it on your own time.
Discounted rates on all workshops and bootcamps.
We run a range of both in-person and online workshops to help facilitators develop their skills. Members receive between 15-50% discount (with the occasional workshop being offered for FREE!) Members also hear about workshops before anyone else, so when spaces are limited, you get the first chance to register.
Opportunities to gain exposure and referrals from other members.
We regularly receive enquiries from businesses or organisations looking for facilitators in their area, or facilitators who specialise in particular areas of work. We love joining the dots and connecting people to work they love! Where the brief might fit many of our members, we post job/gig opportunities in our online community for you to connect directly. Our members are also active in referring each other for possible work. The more you get involved in the community, the more easier it is for people to refer you.
Opportunities to run practice sessions and gather feedback.
Our community is a great place to try out new exercises or run practice sessions online. If there's something you want to try, simply let us know and we'll gather a group together. Our members are happy to be your trial-run for anything new you're developing.
Annual Membership Fee: $495 +GST per year.
(For our international friends, that's $569.25 NZD)
If you are a facilitator working within a Charitable Trust OR you are in your first 6 months of private practice, you may be eligible for up to 50% discount as a part of our scholarship programme. Email kerri@thefacilitatorsnetwork.co.nz for more information.

“Such an important opportunity to be affirmed, learn, connect, grow and have so much fun. So masterfully developed, curated and executed. Designed to lift everyone up so powerfully and authentically.”
Carla Moore, Flourish Taranaki
You always bring practical tools and strategies to your workshops and I enjoy your style of relating to everyone in the room. I’ve already had lots of great feedback from the team this morning and they’re already thinking lots on how they apply the techniques in their different situations. The local government sector can learn a lot from you.
Peter Boyd, Team Leader Community Development, Taupo District Council
Awesome ideas on dealing with different situations and difficult people. Lots of ‘that so makes sense’ moments. Positive, helpful, meaningful.
Ma Isherwood, Community Engagement Partner, Taupo District Council
Thank you so much Kerri – you’ve created the most amazing community where I feel heard, respected, welcomed, empowered and uplifted.

This is the best 2 days I have had in years. Amazing PD and an opportunity to make new connections in my tribe.
